Second Shot is a Premier Event Band in the Chicagoland Area.  10 Piece Band Instrumentation:  Male and Female Vocalists, Horns (Trumpet/Sax/Trombone), Piano, Drums, Guitar, Bass and Sound Engineer.  We play a large variety of music:  Big Band Swing, Jazz, Pop, Rock, Motown, R&B, Funk, Soul, Disco and even some Country.   The band consists of professional freelance musicians that have performed together often.  Put on some headphones for the best experience and check out the "Video" tab above for live recordings.

Second Shot has a state of the art sound system that can also be used to play DJ tracks during the band breaks. Get the best of both a live band and a DJ!  Check out our song list tab. We have many great charts along with fun "sing along" party songs. We customize the set lists and DJ tracks based on your desires. If you would like us to perform a song we don't have, we can orchestrate it for your event or play the MP3 version.   We can add a full hour at the end of the night just for DJ/MP3 tunes to add to the variety at no extra charge.   Background Music can be provided during dinner/cocktail hours by a live combo or MP3. Vocal mics are available for speech or toasts.   We can dress from casual to dress/tuxedo depending upon the event.
